She had nothing. And in that moment — neither did I. No money. No food. Nothing to offer but a prayer and a willingness to stop when everyone else walked by.
So I stopped. I prayed with her. And then I went and found others to pray with me — because Matthew 18:19 says when two or more agree in prayer, God moves.
That moment opened my eyes. Everyone around us is carrying something. A diagnosis. A broken home. A bill they can't pay. A fear they can't name. And every single one of those prayers matters to God — no request is too small, and no person is too forgotten.
No Wasted Prayers exists because of that mother. Because of that baby. Because God showed me that even when you have nothing — you always have prayer.
